Jesse Seaver book error re German branch

Researchers of Jacob Seaver should be aware that there is an error in the Jesse Seaver history with respect to the POBs of the children. He gives the DOBs for the 13 children as 1800-1823, dates that are consistent with other researchers. He also says that all of the children were born in Switzerland Co, IN, and he says that the family moved from Scott Co., VA to Switzerland Co., IN between 1815-1820. He thereby contradicts himself.

A search of Washington Co. VA and Scott Co. VA (formed from Washington in 1814) will reveal that Jacob and his family was in Washington Co. in 1810 and in Scott Co. in 1820. Further, the number of persons listed in each gender and age category in the 1820 census would suggest that the child born in 1820 was born in VA. It is therefore likely that the first 12 children were born in Va and only the youngest, Greenberry, was born in IN.
