This is what I have on Seary from England to Pa.. Sarah Seary later married William Busby/Buzby; any further info on this family, please? Lea Buzby
FIRST GENERATION

1. Thomas SEARY/CERIE -i was born in 1651 in Oxfordshire, England. He died in 1683. He was a Farrier in Oxford, Pa.. All info from Pa. Genealogical Magazine 1999

Sarah H. (Maiden?) SEARY -i was born about 1665 in England. She died in 1736/37. She was held Oxford MM's in her home until MH built 1684 As a Widow, Sarah in held MM's in her home until completion of MH 1684. She signed a will Proved 1736 in Oxford Twp., Phila. Co., Pa.. Sarah's Will proved 1736 mentions daughter Mariam Kenton, wife of Thomas Kenton;
grandchildren, John, William and Sarah Buzby; William, Thomas and Deborah Kenton.
Executors: Thomas and Mariam Kenton.
From Pa. Wills 1682-1834: Buzby, Sarah, Oxford, Phila., Co., November 5, 1736, October 23, 1736. F15. Child; Mariam Kenton, wife of Thomas Kenton. Grandchildren: John, William and Sarah Buzby; and William, Thomas and Deborah Kenton. Exec: Thomas John Shallcross, William Barton and Mirick Davies. She was also known as Cerie; Soiry, Soary, Teary. Thomas SEARY/CERIE -i and Sarah H. (Maiden?) SEARY -i had the following children:

       +2       i.       Mariam/Miriam SEARY\CEREY -i.
       +3       ii.       Mary SEARY\CEREY -i.
       +4       iii.       Hannah SEARY/CERIE -i (born in 1676).



SECOND GENERATION

2. Mariam/Miriam SEARY\CEREY -i was born in Oxfordshire, England. She was also known as Mariam.

She was married to Thomas KENTON I-i. Thomas KENTON I-i was born England. Mariam/Miriam SEARY\CEREY -i and Thomas KENTON I-i had the following children:

       +5       i.       Deborah KENTON -i.

3. Mary SEARY\CEREY -i was born in Oxfordshire, England.

She was married to John HART -i on April 21, 1696.

4. Hannah SEARY/CERIE -i was born in 1676 in England. She died on September 22, 1759 in Chester Co, Pa..

She was married to John S. CHURCHMAN -i on October 14, 1696 in Chester Co, Pa.. Chester Monthly Meeting Minutes:
p. 80 28/7/1696 - "John Churchman expressed his intentions to marry Hannah Sary, dau. of Sarah Busby of Philadelphia Co., and requested a certificate." John S. CHURCHMAN -i was born in 1665 in Essex, England. He died in 1724 in Chester, Pa.. He was. Five of John and Hannah Churchman's children, would later marry five members of the Rev. Richard Browne's family. Dinah Churchman married one of his grandsons, Mercer Brown. Susanna, John, and Miriam Churchman each married one of the children of William Brown (grandson of Rev. Richard Browne) and his wife Hester Baker. William Churchman married one of the daughters of Daniel Brown (grandson of Rev. Richard Browne) and his wife Elizabeth Kirk.





THIRD GENERATION

5. Deborah KENTON -i was living in Oxford Twp, Phila. Co. Pa..

She was married to Jonathan PAUL I-i (son of John PAUL -i and Mary LIVEZEY -i ) in March 1739. Jonathan PAUL I-i was born on October 5, 1712 in Lower Dublin, Phila. Co. Pa.. He died on November 14, 1747 in Germantown MM. Thrown by his horse and suffered a fractured skull, which resulted fatally in a few days. Deborah KENTON -i and Jonathan PAUL I-i had the following children:

       +6       i.       Mary PAUL -i (born on November 9, 1741).

She was married to Joseph WOOLEN II-i (son of Joseph WOOLEN I-i and Mary BARGE -i) in July 1750. Joseph WOOLEN II-i died before 1768.

She was married to John TRUMP -i (son of Michael TRUMP -i and Grace NANNEY -i) in 1768 in Abington MM. At the MM at Abington April 24, 1769, Deborah Trump made acknowledgement for her marriage by a magistrate 'it being her second offense of that nature. She was forgiven.



FOURTH GENERATION

6. Mary PAUL -i was born on November 9, 1741. She died in 1819.

She was married to John PAUL -i (son of Joseph PAUL -i and Elizabeth BRIDWELL -i) on February 4, 1758 in Christ Church, Philadelphia, Pa.. John PAUL -i was born on March 28, 1728. He died about 1783.
