I am looking for information on James Lawson Sears.
James Lawson Sears was born 1800 in Virginia, possibly Loudoun County. He died after 1870 possibly in Shelby County, Illinois.
He married Nancy Jackson, the daughter of John Jackson, b. 12/25/1773 and Eura Newhouse, b. 1774. Both John and Eura were born in Loudoun County, Virginia. Nancy was born in 1804 and she died after 1870, last recorded in Shelby County, Illinois.
James Lawson Sears and Nancy Jackson Sears had at least
four children:
Mary Ann Sears b. 1826 in Virginia
Elizabeth Sears b. 1829 in Ohio
Josiah W. Sears b. 1830 Hocking County, Ohio
Matilda Hetty Sears b. 1836 Ohio
I would appreciate any information on James Lawson Sears' ancestry.
