Charles W. Sears and Eliza G. Lockwood Sears

I have been frustrated in my search and would much appreciate any assistance in helping me find the parents of Charles W. Sears, born about 1830, apparently in New York, per Census records.

He married Eliza G. Lockwood, daughter of Stephen and Sally (Weed?) Lockwood Oct. 17, 1853, in Stamford, CT.

They appear again by Census records to have had five children:

Albert, born about 1855;
Charles D. Sears, born about 1858;
Isabella Sears, born about 1861;
WILLIAM M SEARS, born about 1865;
Sarah Sears, born about 1873

The family lived mostly in the Rye, Westchester, NY area (Pound Ridge, Mamaroneck); Charles was a retail grocer and a carpenter.

Eliza appears to have died 1886 in Stamford, CT

Death date and location for Charles currently unknown by me but he may have outlived Eliza.

I've tried tracking the children as well, and except for my WILLIAM, have been largely unsuccessful.

Thanks in advance to any help you can offer.
