I am still keeping an eye out for Henry's parents as I look for my own Sears roots. Saw the last reply to you reference visiting New Salem State Park. Funny, I grew up in Petersburg, Il, a mile or so away from the park.
Anywho, if you happen to run into any info reference parents of Charles W. Sears, born about 1830 in New York, married Eliza G. Lockwood in Stamford CT (She the daughter of Stephen Lockwood and Sally Weed), would much appreciate the info. Thanks.
