Lelia Sears the Artist?

I'm looking for information on a Lelia B. Sears who painted a water color picture in 1909. The picture is of a young woman's upper torso with long formal gloves and gown and a fancy hat with a large feather, she is holding a parasol. I purchased the painting at an auction in about 1965. The auction was held in Newport News Virginia and all items came from estate auctions in that area. So I make the assumption she lived somewhere in the Tidewater Virginia area. Based on the quality of the painting, which is quite good, I make the assumption she was an accomplished artist and would have been at least in her late teens, making her date of birth prior to 1895.
