Hello,

I descend from a (Post Commander) William Press b. 1884 of the Boer War. He married a Marilyn ? she is the ancestor who is supposed to be a Sears. But I can't find any links to whether or not she was a Sears.

Here is some info on them:
---------
William Press b. 1884, England or Wales married (1) Marilyn ? (Sears?).
Children of William Press and Marilyn are:
(not in any order, not sure if all were born in England)
(Ivey's mother died when she was 9.)
i. Ivey Lillian "Ivy" Press m. James Robb in Ontario (I descend from this line)
ii. Cecil Robert Press m. unknown (fought in Egypt during 2nd WW)
iii. Dorothy Press m. Maurice Townsend/Townshend
iv. William A.C. Press m. unknown

William Press married (2) Mildred Elsie ? Children are:
i. George Press

Here is a ship record:

Ship Name: Melita
Steamship Line: Canadian Pacific Railway Atlantic
Bound for: Saint John, New Brunswick
Sailed out of: Liverpool
Departed: 20 February 1919 (20 Feb 1919)

Press, Wm. A.C., aged 10
Press, Mildred Elsie., aged 35
Press, Ivy L., aged 9
Press, George, aged 6 months
Press, Dorothy, aged 6
Press, Cecil, aged 2

They were most likely going to meet up with PC. William Press
---------
Justin
