He died at an early age leaving his wife Mahala Jane Casteel with 4 children; Lavina Hobson b. abt 1852, Iowa, her spouse had last name of Harrison; Belinda Ellen Hobson b. 24 Oct 1853,Iowa; William A Hobson b. abt 1856, Iowa; Andrew Hobson b. Apr 1849 Iowa. Mahala Jane married Stephen A Gallion in 1849 in Webster County, MO. He was a widower with 3 boys. The only information I have for Belinda Hobson: M. James Bruce Sears b. Feb 1852, Ohio, they had 5 children, Nora Sears b. 1875 MO, Blanche Sears 1883 MO, James Theodore Sears b. 1885 MO, Mary J b. 1887, Arkansas and Neona b.1877 CA. Is the Harrison that Lavana married related to the Sears that Berlinda Married?
