Enoch Palmer Searls (MT)

My great-great grandfather was Enoch Palmer Searls. He helped found Park City, MT in the 1880s. He died in the 1920s. I think he was born in Canada in the 1850s/1860s and the family went to Wisconsin from there. He worked for a railroad, which is how he got to Montana. Any info tracing back through Wisconsin to Canada would be most appreciated.
