Looking for ancestors/descendants of Kitty SEAR born/died Steeple Claydon, Buckinghamshire, England. Married in 1838 to Thomas Roads Merry 1815-1893.
N.B. Parents of Kitty SEAR - John SEAR & Hannah BRYANT. As yet I have not been able to link up my SEARS with the Sears in the tree located on rootsweb - google 'Roads family of Buckinghamshire'.
They had 11 children:
Ann Roads MERRY 1839-1921 (married Henry HEARN)
Sarah Roads MERRY 1841-1877 (married William QUEST)
Thomas John Roads MERRY 1843-1939 (married Sarah HAILSTONE)
Hannah Roads MERRY 1844-1851 ... died young
John Roads MERRY 1845-? ... went to America....
William Sear Roads MERRY 1847-1941 * (married Ann COLLINS)
Emmanuel Roads MERRY 1849-1940 (married Ann JOHNSON)
Mary Roads MERRY 1851-<1939 (married Daniel HOWES)
Arthur Roads MERRY 1853-1854 ... died young
Arthur Ernest Roads MERRY 1856-1905 * (married Louisa MOST)
Florence Alberta Roads MERRY 1857-1947 (married Edwin BLAKE)
*Bill & Arthur emmigrated to Australia & settled in NSW.
Arthur was my gg grandfather.
