Hi Stewart
I found the following for Mary Seaman and Gershom Smith

on pages 21 and 40 of the book by Mary Thomas Seaman on the Descendants of Captain John Seaman

John Seaman and Elizabeth Strickland m 1644. They had a son Solomon b about 1651 and died 1733. He was married before 1682 to Elizabeth Linnington d/o Henry and Katherine Ellison Linnington.
Solomon's will dated May 20,1728 mentions 8 of his 10 children. Mary is mentioned as a daughter. I couldn't find any other mention of Mary in this book.

the will of Henry Linnington dated 10 June 1691 mentions his son-in-law Solomon Seaman is to receive half a corn mill and 20 acres of land on Jaycock's creek.
Henry's son Jonathan Linnington and son-in-law Solomon Seaman were appointed Executors May 20, 1692.

Jonathan Smith married Grace Mott b 1635. they had 10 children .
One of which is Gershon Smith, his will is dated Sept 9, 1735 and proved Oct 10, 1735. lists wife Mary and children Gershon, Thomas, Uriah and Isreal and uk daughters.
Jonathan Smith brother of Gershon was executor.
Gershon appears on the 1698 Cenus of Hempstead LI

Charity Brush d/o Issac Brush and Sarah Wood married Gershon Smith Oct 1766.

hopes this helps you find what you need.
Pat
