I do not know of this John Seaman.....my Seamans came from two brothers that migrated down from the Seamans in New York. They settled in Berkley Co, West Va. or Frederick Co., Va, either or is about the same ........
However, in 1684 wasn't everything over here called Virginia? I don't know when they started breaking down territories into states , do you?
