Sealy Migration, GA, AL, MS in 1825-8

Anyone interested in the Sealy migration from Chester, SC to MS via GA and AL in the period 1825-8 should have a look at a fascinating little book:
Southerland, Henry deLeon, and Brown, Jerry Elijah
1989 'The Federal Road through Georgia, the Creek
Nation, and Alabama, 1806-1836, Tuscaloosa, The
University of Alabama Press.
The route the migration followed was clearly the Federal Road, as far as a place called 'Burnt Corn'and then west to MS. Apart from the family interest, it is a crackin' good read about early days in the Deep South!
