You may have already done this, but you can access the Handbook of Texas online by the URL www.tsha.utexas.edu/handbook/online/index.new.html

Both John and George are in the handbook. If I recall
correctly, they were from Penn. and their father was
a blacksmith who came from Ireland.

George Sealy was a railroad man and Sealy, Texas is named
after him. Sealy, Texas is around 60 miles west of Houston
on I-10.
