Looking for information on ELIZABETH “BETSY” SEALE (McNaughton?), daughter of THOMAS SEALE III and NANCY UNKNOWN, born 10 AUG 1828 in probably Alabama; died 21 OCT 1910 in Ala; tombstone reads “At rest with the angels”; buried in RLDS Cemetery in Huxford, Alabama. Besty married about 1847 in Alabama to FRANKLIN HOWELL VICKREY, son of George Vickrey and Fanny Howell, born 22 SEP 1825 in Lancaster Co., S.C.; died 29 MAY 1912 in Huxford, Escambia Co., Ala.; tombstone reads “Sweet be thy rest". He enlisted 20 SEPT 1863 in Pollard Alabama and served as a private in Co. D, 61st Alabama CSA; captured at Spotsylvania [battle was 8-21 MAY 1864] and imprisoned in Elmira Prison Camp; released 11 JUL 1865.
