The information I have in my book was sent to me by Jan Sevener from Milwaukee, WI back in about 1985 or so. I have not communicated with her in years, so I really cannot tell you where she is now or if she has further info on James Foster Seale. I have a few pages on him. I have that he was born in 1814 in TN and married Mary Gray who was born in GA, and they lived in Jasper County, Texas in 1840. I'm sure he is related to my Joshua Seale in some manner, but I do not know what it is. We poured over this a lot in 1985 or so. He received two headrights in Tyler Co., TX of 320 acres each. In 1854-55 they were living in Tyler County (Texas School records) with their three oldest children: Martha, William Leonidas, and Ophelia. In 1856 moved to Gonzales Co. (Rancho, TX) and owned 80 acres there in 1860. He married 2ndly Aramintha Angeline Ballard McGuire, the widow of George McGuire and died 8th Dec 1869 in Wrightsboro, Texas. He and Mary Gray had two other children: James and Eldora. By his second wife, he had two other children: David Berkley Seale and Emma Jane Seale. I have information on most of these children in the book, but it only takes up a total of three or four pages in the "Lost Ancestors" section.
