Hi Debbie,
Sorry to take so long to respond to your reply on genforum. My ancestor Eli Seale went to Texas with his family in 1835. He first settled in Limestone County, but in 1837 he settled on Big Cedar Creek near Kurten. Eli served in the war for Texas Independence. He was buried on his property in what is now known as the Gurney/Seale Cemetery. His son Joseph Arnold Seale (my gg grandfather) was also buried there.
I am not familiar with William Joseph "Billie" Seale. Do you know the name of his father? Grandfather? Great Grandfather? I would be very surprised if there was not a connection.
Eli's father was Thomas, best know as Thomas of the Five Wives. Thomas's father was Charles. Charles's father was Anthony II. Anthony II's father was Anthony I. Anthony I's father was William Sr. who came to America in 1655.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Jim Boyd
