Tim:
The "Seals from All-around" book that I have is certainly a limited edition. It is loaned to me by a J.E. Seals (very distantly related) of Caesare, MS, a gentleman who happened to show up at the very end of a Seals family reunion last April.Oddly, he had this copy but no one in my immediate family had a copy.I am sure there is a copy in the library of Picayune, MS.And there must be copies elsewhere.Or you can always come to Santa Maria, CA on vacation.
It is an industrial-bound thing, with hardware that I have yet to figure out how to get apart to make copies of the pages. But as soon as I do, I would be quite happy to make copies for you or any other Seal(e, s) relative. (Any bookbinders out there who might know something about this stuff?)
The book, by the way, list Martha, wife of William Seale, Jr. as "Martha ___- (Muse?)" only, with no further information. Sorry.
Martha sold the NC land after William died and it appears at some point around that, had moved to SC.Most of her sons moved to MS, also around that time. Many of their children were listed as "Seal" in later Census' in Mississippi.
Sons William, Andrew, and Jacob served in the War of 1812.
