Sorry, I rarely get on this website, as I am not a Seagrave but was just researching the family name for Geoge Seagrave and his pumper trucks. Thank you for your reply. It was most informative. I had no idea that the Seagraves were servants of the Taft family. Yes that is a famous family. There was at least one of the Seagrave family who was a mill owner in Uxbridge in the 1800s. Then George Seagrave who invented the Seagrave pumper trucks in Columbus OH and Detroit. They of course still make them.
