I am an African-American Seabrooks from North Florida. I believe that my grandfather's father may have come from Georgia or South Carolina. My grandfather's name was Sam Seabrooks (DOB 3/5/1896). His father's name was King Seabrooks. My grandfather's mother was named Emma Thomas(?). I am very interested in tracking the Seabrooks family tree back to slavery. I would especially like to know the origin of our family. Just as a note there is a Seabrook Island, South Carolina. It is now a resort Island, but it could also be a part of the family history.

I hope you are still out there and looking. I would like to hear from you.
