Dear Janet,
Thomas Seabrook's wife was Mary M. ___, widow of Richard Bray who was also killed by Indians in 1665 in Lynn, MA. Richard's widow Mary Bray and two minor children, Mary and John Bray, were named in the estate administration record for Richard Bray. Soon after Thomas Seabrook's death in 1675, Mary (___) Bray/Seabrook married Thomas Whitlock Sr. (then of Westchester Co., NY, later of Monmouth Co., NJ). In 1689 Mary M. Whitlock and her son John Bray (my ancestor) signed a deed recorded in East Jersey. Mary M. (___) Bray/Seabrook/Whitlock died about 1724 in Monmouth Co., NJ. For a well-written summary of the above persons/events/locations, you might like to review Mike Moore's GenForum (Bray surname) posting #1104, Dec. 16, 1999.
