Seabrook Family Genealogy Forum
Many thanks for replying to the post. Since then I have mamaged to track down Fred and his descendants. He lived in Stoke Newington, West Ham, then Essex all his life and worked in the retail trade, first in a bike shop, then a ladies hosiery. In 1915 he was a serving soldier. What I have managed to uncover is that there were several branches of Seabrook families in and around London. Mine hailed from Kent and moved into the East and South part of London. There was another distinct branch in the North and West of London which is probably where these F J Seabrook men came from. Both Frederick and John were family names. I have been able to track back the first Kent Seabrook to Hemel Hempstead, in the 1750's so there may be a very distant link. I am still looking! All the best and thanks.
