Our lineage with the Seaborn Family Line, begins with Narcissa Seaborn. We know that she was born around 1830 and that she married Joseph Samuel Austin, 17 February 1855 in Union County, Arkansas. They returned to Louisiana where Joseph's family already were settled. I have no idea how they met, If by chance her Seaborn family had migrated to Louisiana. If the Wedding trip back to Arkansas was a Family wedding, or because Wedding in Arkansas during that time period was an elite event, which of course many people went to Arkansas to be married. Tracking daughters prior to 1850, requires Family Bibles, Marriage Records, Will and Probate. Narcissa Seaborn Austin after Joseph Austin died in the civil war, seemed to disappear. Their boys appear to be leaving with other people by 1870. Hard to second guess what might have occurred, if she passed, or if she remarried and the boys were not wanted.. no answers, at least not yet.. always hopeful.. Keeping History Alive..
