Sorry, but I have no idea which county in Ark. David was born. I know that the Harts were in Washington and Madison Co. and Lovel and his family were in Madison Co. Ark in 1850. Lovel's parents were Berryman and Mary Tramell.

Mary, Lovell's wife, was listed on the Indigent Families list in 1865, stating that there were 4 in the family. That had to be her, David Seabolt, and her 2 daughters. Lovel must have been dead by then.

In Jan.1867, a Nancy J. Hart, claiming to be Mary's sister, filed to get guardianship of the children of Lovel and Mary Tramell, both deceased. David was named as one of their children. There were several papers filed before one of Mary's brothers was appointed guardian, but that first one was the only one that mentioned David. I know that Mary was too young to have been married to a Seabolt before Lovel, and she was in her father's household in 1850. She and Lovel had their first daughter by 1854, so they probably married about '52 or '53.

My question is how did Lovell end up with a baby from Ark., and what happened to that child after the deaths of Lovell and Mary?
