I am trying to find a marriage certificate for Andrew Day born 19 Nov 1835, New York and Eliza Ann Dodson born 6 June 1848, Wisconsin. They were married 8 Jan 1879, Dakota Territory. Her parents are listed in 1880 census in Le Mars, Plymouth County, Iowa. Thought maybe they had crossed the state line and married on their way to Colorado as I find Andrew Day in the court news in March 1881 where someone had stolen his house which he had build 1 1/2 or 2 years before. Eliza applied for Andrews Civil War pension giving the marriage place as Woodbury County, Iowa but was denied because no record was found.
