Sioux Valley

Hello,

My ancestor, Joseph Millage (wife Emma) and his son Charles (wife Etta) are listed in the 1880 and 1900 census in Sioux Valley, Union County, Douth Dakota. I look up Sioux Valley on mapquest and find nothing. Is Sioux Valley the name of the township? How close is this to Lincoln County, in particular, Canton, South Dakota? Tracking down Joseph and when and where he died is a brick wall for us. Family tradition holds that he was burried in Canton.

thanks,
Kay
