I am looking for Barney A. Hendrix (b. 1873 in MI) that married Jenny Mae Batchelder in Elk POint in 1897. They had 4 kids that were given up for adoption. Menroe Wardis (b. 1899 in Akron, IA), Frankie ALva (b. 1900 probably in Union COunty), Sadie Mae (b. 1903) and Lucille (b. 1905). Menroe was adopted by the Larson fmaily and lived near Seneca, SD. His name was changed to Clarence Larson, but as a young man he went by Paul John Hendrix. Barney may have worked for the railroad and may have had a foot/leg cut off and possibly died before 1910 from a rail road accident. If anyone has any info on the above listed people, please let me know.
