I am going to assume that naturalizations in Turner were similar to other local counties. I have found one book of naturalizations in Clay, in the attic of the courthouse. Only one person in the courthouse knew of it. I looked at two pages, for my g/g/grandfather and his brother. There was virtually no information to be gotten from them. Their birthplace was simply "England."
A check with the Union county courthouse, got the reply that all naturalization information had been sent to Pierre.
So, I would check with the SD Historical Society home page. Type in "South Dakota Historical Society" on a search, like and see what they say about them.
bye, dj
PS: Viborg has had a centennial in the last few years. If you check with their library, you might find that they have published a centennial book. It could be worth a bunch as they would have scoured the area for publishable material. You should be able to get their library online, even if all you get is the high school library. The two might be joined anyway, like nearby Centerville.
bye again, dj
