Thank you for your reply. Corbin was my great uncle. He went to school in New York and came out west at 16 and became involved in the cattle business. I thought your story was amusing because I have another uncle who stayed on the ranch back around 1918 and was never allowed to sleep in the house and spent his time living in the bunk house. He never liked the housekeeper. How old was your husband when he stayed there? I have a photo supplied by the family of the Ohmits, who worked on the farm before returning back east, showing a young boy on horseback with several women ....he appears to be less than 13. I would have to dig up the photo but I recall the name last of one of the women was Crawford. Donna Kelly
