I'm looking for anyone who has information about Elizabeth Daniel Heitman
b. Bohe Westphalen, Germany who was married to Ferdinand (AKA; Fred or
possibly Fritz) Heitman on January 12, 1869. Her maiden name was Daniel.
They lived in Belleville, Illinois until he passed – when I’m not sure. She
moved to St. Helena, Nebraska and married a man named Shulte on
January 11, 1876.
One of the three sons she had with Ferdinand, William Heitman, was my
grandfather and as an adult he lived on a homestead outside of Quinn (near
Wall) South Dakota in 1921 until he passed away in 1949. His family then
moved to Jasper, Minnesota (SW corner) and homesteaded there.
I am still a layperson when it comes to genealogy, so anything you can suggest or
any info on Elizabeth or Ferdinand would be appreciated. I have huge family tree
