John CROTTY & Mary, 1880?

The database of the US 1880 Census is now online at FamilySearch.org. I didn't find anybody in Dakota that matched your description. Could the family have been in Ohio in 1880? There were John, 45; wf. Mary, 35; with son Charles, 8; Pleasant, Madison Co., OH. Do you have the names of any other children in the family? There were also Thomas, Mary, John, & Lewis in the above family.
