Thanks alot Mary for your effort! After a long, long search (several years), I finally located my great grandfather. After living in Sioux Falls a few years, he moved to Luverne, Minnesota, around 1930. There he lived untill his death in 1968. I had problems finding him, since he changed his name a second time, the official records (death certificate) says Chris Christianson. I have also obtained his obituary. I still would like a picture of his tombstone, though, so if anyone are planning a trip to Luverne soon, he should be at the Maplewood cemetary. The Ole A Larsen you found can't be the right man. My Ole Anton Larsen was born on 6/1 1879. His brother Otto Larsen on 2/16 1876. They both emigrated to the USA, and it looks like they went to South-Dakota. We don't know for sure, since nobody heard from them again. It would be great if they had ancestors today. The uncle of Ole Anton and Otto Larsen, was Peder Olsen Midtmoen (born 1840) Married to Oline Isachsdtr. (born 1833) They had 3 children: 1. Caroline 8/12 1861 2. Ingara Marie 9/19 1864 3. Peter Oluf 9/8 1867 The whole family emigrated to South-Dakota in 1891. Peter definately lives in Sioux Falls in 1924. They may have used the name Pedersen. Any information on this family is most welcome! Ørjan Notify Administrator about this message?
