1925 South Dakota state census. This looks like Chris and his family. Andrew Vuletich may have been his uncle.

George Vuletich, age 3 months, born in Lead, both parents born in Austria, Catholic

1922 passport application for George Vuletich. Lawrence County, SD

He was born at Hercegovina, Jugo-Slavia on 5/3/1886. His father was Louie Vuletich, who was born in Turkey(!)and now resides at Hercegovina, Jugo-Slavia.George emmigrated to the US, sailing from Ragusa, Austria via Liverpool 4/1903. Lived from 1903 to 1922 in Los Angeles, CA, Newark, NJ, and Lead, SD. Occupation at Lead - miner.Visiting Jugo-Slavia to see parents who are old and feeble. George was 5 ft, 11 in, with a high forehead, sallow skin, brown eyes, Grecian nose, strong chin, black hair, semi-oval face, and mustached.

1923 US Consular Registration for George indicates that he was born in Pecina, Hercegovina, Kingdom of the SCS on 5/3/1886. His wife is listed as Annie Vuletich, who was born in Celopeci, Dalmatia, SCS in 1887. Children by this marriage: Mary, Annie, Louie,Cris, Nellie, Edith, and Lucille. He worked for Homestake Mining Company in Lead.
