Betty, I thought he had just "Americanized" his name to Mike, but now I am not sure.

On www.findagrave.com there are two listings - one for Mike Ragus (1887-1930) and one for Mato Ragus (1881-1926) in the Pinal Cemetery in Gila Co., Arizona. You might check these out and contact the person named Louis who appears to be related to Mike Ragus.

Mike Ragus in the 1920 census is a dairy man, and has a partner living with him, a Nick Pryach, also from Austria.
