At Emmet P. O., Dodge Co., WI, 1860, there were MILLER: Caroline, 34; Mina, 10; Wm., 6; Frank, 3; & August, 2.

Because of Frank and August being about the right age, that might be your family. Also, if you check FamilySearch and also if you
click Family Trees in the strip at the top of the RootsWeb page >
click Advanced Search on the next page >
you can fill in details for August MUELLER (4 Apr. 1858, Dodge Co., WI - 20 Jan. 1942, Ortonville, Big Stone, MN). Notice that August's first child was Caroline. Was she named for August's mother?

This might be the family in 1880, Caledonia, Waupaca, WI, MILLER, Wm., 25, b. Prussia; wf. Augusta, 21, b. Saxony; brother August, 22, WI; sister Amelia, 9 [ Amelia LUST? ]; mother Caroline LUST, 45, Prussia.
