Received information from a distant cousin, descendant of William Harvey Crask (brother of James Crask) which indicates their father, Henry Crask died and was buried in Gordon, Ohio. Still do not have date of Henry's death. He was mentioned in the 1870 census in Richmond, IN but not the 1880 Census, Richmond, IN. His wife Eliza was still in Richmond, IN in 1880 census so not sure why Henry Crask was buried in Ohio. No idea where my cousin received Henry's burial information.

Henry's widow, Eliza Jane is not mentioned in connection with her children after the 1880 census. However there is a listing in Bureau of Land Management records for South Dakota that she received land patents on 3 Jul 1890 for two parcels of land in Meade County, SD. Perhaps she joined her daughter May (w/o John Ickes, Deadwood, SD) after May's marriage in 1884. According to my distant cousing Eliza J. Eidson Crask was buried in Trinidad, Colorado in 1912. I do not know if she ever remarried or if she was buried under the name Crask.

Anyone have any further information?
