I am trying to find information on my great-grandfather,and
great-grandmother...His name was George Moge/Mogue,b 1850 to 1860
supposedly born in South Dakota. He was married to a lady named
Carrie Stewart,b 1860 to 1865 supposedly born in Kansas. George
Moge/Mogue died while Carrie Stewart Moge/Mogue was pregnant
with my grandmother,Frances Louise Moge/Mogue,b Sept 7, 1878 in
Yankton, South Dakota. Carrie married again...to a man named
George A. Baker, before the baby was born, but was given her
biological father's name. Carrie (Stewart)(Moge/Mogue)Baker
supposedly died around 1882 when Frances Louise was only about
4 years old...If anyone has any information on George Moge/Mogue
or Carrie Stewart Moge/Mogue, please let me hear from you....
Thank you in advance.
