Paulina Mathilda Wehler was born May 3, 1875 in Clayton Co., Iowa. I believe her parents came from Germany. The family may have changed their name to Wheeler. She got married to John Lewis Hoefert in 1900 in South Dakota. They had 5 children. One of which was my grandmother Pauline Mathilda Emma Hoefert who was born in Humboldt, Minnehaha Co., South Dakota. She married Henry Martin Johnson abt. 1927 in South Dakota. I would love any information you may have.
