SOLDIERS HOME for Civil War Vets in SD?

My Civil War Vet--great great uncle Thomas J. Williams, lived out his remaining years in a Soldiers Home. He served with Colorado Volunteers, but left Co. Some reports say he died at the Soldiers Home in Buffalo, WY, but there are no records of him there. Family that I have just found states they believe he actually went to a Soldiers Home somewhere in South Dakota. Does anyone out there know of one in existance during the late 1800's thru the very early to mid 1900's in SD??
