Seeking information on and decsendants of Evan J. EDWARDS born Mar 1847 in, WI (son of John D. and Mary EDWARDS). Evan married 7 Apr 1868 in Ridgeway, Iowa, WI. to Rachel THOMAS (daughter of #4 Daniel THOMAS and Margaret RICHARDS) born 6 Feb 1847 in Wales. Evan J. EDWARDS and Rachel THOMAS had the following children:
42, Mary EDWARDS born 1869 in WI
43, Margaret EDWARDS born 1871 in WI
44, Daniel J. EDWARDS born Oct 1874 in WI
45, Ira J. EDWARDS born May 1877 in WI
46, Lydia EDWARDS born 28 Apr 1879 Iowa Co, WI.
In 1880 they were living in Bowlde, Edmunds, SD. Rachel (THOMAS) EDWARDS died 17 Feb 1896. Buried in Bowdle City Cemetery, Bowdle, Edmunds, SD. Information from her tombstone, I have not seen it this was sent to me. I believe Evan may be buried there also.
