Marilyn - I thought I would update you. I contacted the health department for both Adelbert and Meron and no luck; I still believed they died in Bridgewater. I contacted the South Dakota Historical Society to see if my library could borrow the microfilm for the Bridgewater Journal for the month and year Meron died (08/1942 according to her grave marker) hoping to find an obituary that may provide me with info. The historical society said that they could research for me and they found the obituary for Adelbert (not Meron) and it was a long obituary so it told me about his life and his date of death and made no mention of the place so I still believe he died in Bridgewater. Having his date of death and obituary makes me feel I have not disregarded him and my research can be complete. Thank you for guiding me in the right direction. I appreciate all of your help and concern. Cheryl.
