Wanted to share a resource that I just found for old newspaper articles. The South Dakota Library Network is on-line and you can search the old articles by keyword. Some of the articles even have brief abstracts, and they all have listings of names mentioned in the articles.
The historic black hills newspapers were particularly interesting to me. I found many articles mentioning my ancestors who lived in Deadwood in the late 1800's.
