Keep that fire at bay! My brother lives in Montana and they are really tired of soot and ashes...and one of the their sons is a fire fighter for the forest service and they haven't seen him in months!
I sure hope they get the fire under control! I think that would be such a frightful situation....what would I take? Stuff is just stuff, but some stuff, like years of geneology, can't be replaced!
I shall ask the two aunties when they get here about the name Rosevear...because I know I have heard it... maybe I should dig Mothers' high school yearbook out... it could have been a class mate..like the Finola gang. My Mother attended the Lead HS 100 year reunion in 1985, at age 83-4? Was close to one of the older graduates in attendance, but there were about a dozen from her class, including one of the Finola boys.. He died soon after...and now that I think of it, I think there was a girl, Annie? Finola who was my AUnt Beve's best friend... I'll pick her brain when she gets here for any personal memories..
Had another lady ask for a look up a while back, turns out her grandmother used to play cards with my grandfather all the time.. Small world..at least in Lead/Deadwood it is.
More after the wedding... Good luck with the fires.. You are in a pretty area! Brother lived there for about 6 months..in that area.
