FamilySearch.org database of the 1880 Census has the family of William CALLIES, 62, farmer, GER GER GER; wf. Wilhelmina, 53, GER GER GER; son Carl Wm., 30, b. WI; other ch. b. MN: Wm., 19; Bertha, 17; Pauline, 15; Herman, 12; & Otto H., 10. Mother-in-law Eliz. LEMKE, 91, GER GER GER.

SSDI has an Otto CALLIES (21 D 1889 - Mar. 1968, Milwaukee).

There was a Carl CALLIES who patented in 1888, 106 - 55, 5 SW, Miner Co., [S] D.
