Henry Lauterbach was one of the founders of Concord Township, Lake Co., SD I believe this was 1886. His daughter, Anna, and my grandfather, Harry, were sister and brother. They moved to Tioga/Pilot Point, Texas probably in the 1890's. The Blankenburg's were there as well. There is a child (?) who may be another sibling buried St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Lake Co. Henry is buried in Pilot Point as is a Blankenburg child (son of Anna and William. I have never been able to establish when and where Henry;s wife, Marianna Kruse Lauterbach died. The Blankenburgs I believe were back in SD in 1898--that's when Henry's land was sold. Anna lived in Madison at one time and Marianna or Marianne was living with them during the time of the 1900 Census. Please send your relationship to this family! I have more
