RE: Dr. Orville D. Pherrin
My mother was a Pherrin. She was born and raised in Springville Ia. As a teenager I remember Dr. Orville Pherrin (denist) coming to Springville in his old age and visiting and dying while there. My mother made funneral arrangements for someone living in S.D. They sent her a thank you gift of a necklace and ear rings. I think he was buried at Springville; if not his body was sent to S.D. he was a cousin of my grndfather Robert Edward Pherrin. Orville has two sons buried at the Springville cemetary. someone in Caalf contacted the springville city hall wanting to place markers on the graves. I have a lot of information on the Pherrin family if anyone would like to contact me. Much of it is from an old family bible. Nancy318677535@yahoo.com
