Your information was just what I needed -- thank you so much! This week I searched England Civil Registrations microfilms and found Seymour's birth listed in 4th quarter 1909 (Greenwich), so he lived 1909-1942. I also located the marriage of his father in 1st qtr. 1908 (Camberwell). I am requesting the documents from England which will give me details of the mother/wife, etc. The 1901 Census on line has a Seymour Scutt, age 38 (b. London Hatton Garden) living in Hornsey along with a Seyenour (must be a spelling error), age 14, confirming at least three consecutive generations of Seymours as you said. Did you know the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website shows a death date and regimental information for Seymour Vincent under WWI? He died July 22, 1916. If you are interested, I will gladly share any Scutt family information I find. My email is -- aliceaucoin@hotmail.com Alice (in Canada) Notify Administrator about this message?
