Dr. George Scully, husband of Harriett, was the son of George Scully.Geo Jr. and Harriett Scully had the following children;George III, born in Davenport, Scott, Iowa; Anna, born abt. 1863; Lilly, born about 1867; Dora, born about 1872; Henrietta, born Aug.1870 and died 25 Mar 1875; Francis (Frank), born 1874; Octavius Leo, born May 1877, amrried an Ella and lived in Iowa, Montana and Oregon; Jane M., born 1879, and a Vincent de Paul, birthdate unknown.All the children but George III were born in St. Louis, MO. Octavius (Octave) had red hair.
Lilly married an Evans (first name unknown) probably lived in Ohio, but he died young.They had two daughters - Grace M., born 1896 and Lillian M. born 1898.After Evans died, Lilly and her daughters lived with Jane Scully Burke.Jane married John A. Burke of St. Louis, an attorney, and they had children: Mary Rose, Jane M, John J. and Vincent P. Burke.
Harriett Scully's maiden name was Senyard and she was born in London, England. She was buried out of St. Elizabeth's or St. Joseph's Catholic Church in East St. Louis, IL across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, MO.George, her husband, and their daughter, Henrietta, are buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery.One more note on George - he started out as a ferrier in Iowa and then moved to St. Louis, where he became a doctor.He was his father's physician when he died in St. Louis.
