I am researching my husband's branches of his family tree and wonderfully his gg-grandmother Zella Minerva Freeman-Johnson is in the Soper's index for descendants of Timothy Scudder. It seems that on the internet there are various dob's given for Thomas and TImothy ranging from (Thomas) Nov 26, 1618 to bet-1607 and 1615. The same for Timothy his son. I have seen on several personal websites people mentioning wills of these individuals. I am wondering if anyone has a copy of these or know where they are buried (for tombstone photos).
Not much exists for them until we get to those individuals that can be found on census's between 1850-1930.
The tree is as follows:
Thomas Scudder b. 1618?
Timothy Scudder b. abt 1655?
Henry Scudder b. 1714
Edmund Scudder b. 1747
Moses Scudder b. 1778
William H Scudder b. abt 1810
Gilbert Henry Scudder b. abt 1840
Annie Elizabeth Scudder-Freeman b. 1863
Zella Minerva Freeman-Johnson b. 1895
Charles Eugene Johnson b. 1919...etc...
The generations remained in Huntington Long Island NY up through Annie Elizabeth, then scattered...Zella was NJ and Charles in WY. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there shares these ancestors, and if they had any information or documentation...
