Graveside services for Audrey M. Hill, 85, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Hershel Bearden officiating.
Mrs. Hill was born March 30, 1921 in Angelina County, Texas, to the late Mary Viola (Scoggins) and William J. Pixley, and died Wednesday, December 27, 2006 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Hill resided in Lufkin most of her life. She was a homemaker, and attended the Church of Christ. Mrs. Hill was a past treasurer and was a member of the Daughters of The Republic of Texas. She loved to read and travel, and dearly loved her family.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Hill of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Charles Spruill of Huntington; grandson and wife, Mike and Carmen Spruill of Pasadena; great-granddaughter, Kristen Spruill of Pasadena; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Jonnie Sue Hill of Lufkin and Ernest M. and Nikki Hill of Zavalla; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Kitty and Mike Brower of Gracemont, Oklahoma; step-grandchildren, Rick Hill, Robert Shilling, Timothy Shilling, Clint Brower, Jason Brower, Tyler Hill and Coby Hill; numerous step-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Hall.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
